Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Application Administrator to configure and support business applications, partnering with users and leading small projects. The role acts as SME for at least one software and mentors junior teammates.

Responsibilities include resolving end-user issues, coordinating with IT and business units on configuration improvements, documenting processes, and communicating progress. This remote role supports enterprise initiatives and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of business systems analytical experience, including the ability to flow chart processes.
• 2 years of experience with SQL.
• Experience working with an offshore development and QA team.
• Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Configures and supports complex software application issues for end users promptly and professionally.
• Serves as the primary point of contact between IT and assigned functional business areas for routine configuration projects.
• Partners to diagnose and resolve complex software issues escalated by other team members.
• Mentors newer or less experienced Application Administrators or Specialists.
• Documents issues and resolutions in the incident tracking system.
• Communicates progress to team and management clearly and timely.
