Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to join our team. This role partners with Appian product teams and may engage customers to capture requirements for Appian applications.

You will define MVPs, run discovery, model data, design processes, write user stories with acceptance criteria, and work with stakeholders to prioritize features. Remote role with East Coast hours; US citizenship may be required for security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Remote role with ability to work East Coast hours; US citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Appian product teams to gather requirements.
• Define MVPs and release plans with Product Dev Managers.
• Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, and process design for BPM applications.
• Document solution requirements through workshops with customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements.
• Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria for developers and QA.
• Assist with sprint planning and backlog estimates.
• Review and accept implemented user stories.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements.
• Utilize TFS, Jira and Github for project management.
