Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to partner with Appian product teams and potentially engage customers to gather requirements for Appian applications. This remote role supports east coast hours and requires a strong background in business analysis and Appian-related work.

You’ll work with Product Dev Managers and technology stakeholders to define requirements, design processes, and create user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in business analysis and refining requirements for information systems.
• Strong communication at all levels of an organization (written and verbal).
• Detail oriented with experience handling multiple products concurrently.
• Experience with use cases, Agile user stories, and process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Dev Managers in defining MVP and release plans.
• Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, process improvement, and design BPM applications.
• Conduct discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to collect requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Dev Managers and technical stakeholders to define requirements and functionality.
• Prioritize feature enablers with architects within the product roadmap.
• Deliver and maintain user engagement analytics to characterize users and support case studies.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria for developers and QA.
