Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our IT team. You will design and implement automated processes bridging Appian and PeopleSoft, analyze business needs, map processes, and translate requirements into functional specs for developers.

You will work with Appian Architects and Developers, support Agile delivery, create test cases, and ensure solutions align with organizational standards. Remote-friendly role with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Appian experience (v24.x+).
• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process-improvement expertise.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Appian Certified Analyst is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN.
• Identify automation opportunities using Appian capabilities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers on workflows and data models.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and standards.
• Analyze alignment with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflow.
• Run workshops to clarify functional and technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides.
