Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to design and implement complex process automation bridging Appian and PeopleSoft ERP. You’ll translate business needs into functional specs guiding developers, enabling users to interact with PeopleSoft data within Appian interfaces.

The role supports remote work for qualified U.S. residents and involves up to 10% travel. You will collaborate with Appian Architects, participate in Agile delivery, and ensure solutions align

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian experience (24.x+).
• Security clearance: DoD Secret or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
• Certifications: Appian Certified Analyst preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows and data models.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet expectations and standards.
• Analyze alignment with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to clarify functional and technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides with governance.
