Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to help design and implement automation bridging Appian with PeopleSoft ERP. You will analyze business needs, map processes, and translate requirements into functional specifications for development teams.

The role is fully remote for residents in the United States, with up to 10% travel and cross-functional collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.
• DoD Secret level Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Strong understanding of BPMN and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to create clear requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and UIs.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.
• Assist in creating test cases and supporting UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and comply with standards.
• Analyze alignment with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to clarify functional and technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides with governance.
