Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian experience (v24.x+).
• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Appian Certified Analyst certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects/Developers to design workflows and data models.
• Support Agile delivery with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT testing.
• Ensure solutions meet expectations and organizational standards.
• Align processes with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to drive clarity for functional/technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides in repositories.
