Job summary

Atlas Technologies is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to design and implement complex automation aligning Appian low-code with PeopleSoft ERP. You will map business processes, translate requirements into specs, and guide development for Appian interfaces interacting with PeopleSoft data.

Remote position available to many US states; travel up to 10%. The role emphasizes BPMN, Agile, and the ability to create precise requirements and test artifacts for secure, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Appian expertise with 5+ years experience (versions 24.x or higher).
• DoD Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Clear, detailed requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Certifications: Appian Certified Analyst preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN.
• Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities with Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers on workflows and data models.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure solutions meet expectations and standards.
• Align processes with PeopleSoft and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to finalize functional/technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, specs, and guides with governance.
