Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States is seeking an API IT Solutions Analyst II for a remote role. You will deliver enterprise APIs powering applications across sales, service, and claims, onboarding partners to our API ecosystem and ensuring seamless integration.

The role emphasizes collaboration with BRM/BRMC, BSA, PM, developers and QA, with responsibilities spanning requirements, documentation, testing support and data analysis. Remote-first with nationwide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years System documentation experience and/or technical writing
• Ability to create non-functional requirements and translate business requirements into non-functional requirements
• Solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
• Ability to trace given transactions through a sophisticated system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA, PM, Developers and QA to gather and translate needs into technical requirements
• Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and milestones
• Develops and maintains SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in processes
• Identify and coordinate interdependencies across domains for seamless integration
• Lead delivery of projects and initiatives to successful completion within set timelines
• Author API mapping sheets, API specs
• Foster collaboration with AI Council, ARC and other partners to support work environment
• Collaborate with Architects and Developers to align solutions with business objectives
• Provide SME knowledge to business partners about applications and platforms
• Review and provide feedback on documentation for accuracy
• Regularly update BRM/BRMC, BSA and PM on issues and risks
• Capture vital business needs via BRD and validate technical requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including technical requirements, design, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Architects and Solution Designers to produce clear technical specifications and data mappings
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant partners
• Assist with UAT and development of training materials
• Perform data analysis and reporting; contribute to dashboards and metrics
