Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an API IT Solutions Analyst II - Remote to deliver enterprise APIs powering sales, service, and claims. You will onboard partners to our API ecosystem and troubleshoot integration issues.

You will collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA, PM, developers and QA to translate business needs into technical requirements, create documentation, and support testing and training. This remote role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities to influence API strategy across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years System documentation experience and/or technical writing
• Ability to create non-functional requirements and translate business requirements into non-functional requirements
• Solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
• Ability to trace given transactions through a sophisticated system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA, PM, Developers, QA and IT partners to gather needs and translate into technical requirements
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines and milestones are met
• Develops and maintains comprehensive SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in processes
• Identifies and coordinates interdependencies across multiple domains, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of efforts
• Leads and accelerates the delivery of projects and initiatives, driving them to successful completion within set timelines
• Author API mapping sheets, API specs
• Cultivates and sustains strong, collaborative relationships with various domains and key contributing partners
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers and others to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise: serve as a go-to resource for business partners
• Review and provide feedback on documentation created by other analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Regularly update BRM/BRMC, BSA and PM on the status of issues and risks
• Ensure Accurate Translation and Traceability of Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
• Create, Maintain and Update Documentation: technical requirements, design, user stories, acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Architects and Solution Designers and own the creation of clear and concise technical specifications and documentation
• Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant partners
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions
• Assist with development and delivery of systems related training materials and sessions
• Perform Data Analysis and Reporting: extract, analyze, and interpret data for decisions
• Contribute to reports and dashboards to track progress and metrics
