Job summary

Worky is seeking a Forward Deploy Engineer to serve as the technical liaison for MDI customers, guiding implementation from kickoff to go-live and assisting existing customers expanding integrations. You will configure API connections, review logs, and troubleshoot issues to keep deployments on track.

This role suits someone who understands APIs, enjoys problem solving, and can clearly explain complex concepts to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role focused on API-driven apps.
• Strong API, webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP statuses; read logs and docs to resolve config issues.
• Familiarity with data mapping, payload structures, or basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or SQL).
• Experience using HubSpot, Postman or equivalent for troubleshooting and testing API calls.
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users; not a software developer role.
• Experience documenting integration processes and creating SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for new and expanding customers from kickoff to go-live.
• Lead end-to-end technical implementation, mapping and configuring API connections with customers.
• Monitor logs and tools to identify misconfigurations and resolve issues independently.
• Draft clear technical documentation with root cause, steps taken, and resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering with documented context for a smooth handoff.
• Translate customer inquiries into actionable technical tasks and configuration notes.
• Partner with Success and Clinical Support teams to align capabilities with expectations.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain high responsiveness and ownership throughout implementation and expansion.
