Job summary

MD Integrations is seeking a Forward Deploy Engineer to act as the technical liaison for customers from kickoff to go-live, mapping and configuring APIs, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting to keep integrations on track.

You will closely collaborate with partner success and engineering teams, translate customer needs into actionable tasks, and document solutions to build a reliable knowledge base for ongoing support and future expansions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a customer-facing technical support or implementation role with emphasis on API-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP status codes; able to read logs and docs to identify root cause.
• Experience using HubSpot, Postman or equivalent for troubleshooting and testing API calls.
• Technically-savvy and able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users; not writing production code.
• Experience documenting integration processes or producing customer-facing materials (workflows, diagrams, SOPs).
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Curiosity and ability to learn new systems and integration logic quickly.
• Customer-first mindset; thrives helping customers.
• Experience in SaaS or healthcare tech integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact for new and existing customers through implementation to go-live.
• Lead end-to-end technical implementation, map/configure API connections, and validate setup in real time.
• Monitor logs, dashboards, and tools like Postman to identify misconfigurations and resolve most issues without engineering.
• Draft clear technical documentation for each issue encountered, including root cause, steps taken, and resolution.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to engineering with well-documented context.
• Translate customer inquiries and data needs into clear technical tasks and configuration notes.
• Partner with the Partner Success Managers and Clinical Support teams to align technical capabilities with customer expectations.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend ways to simplify, document, or automate the process.
• Maintain responsiveness, ownership, and customer empathy during implementation and expansion.
