Lumen seeks an API Technology Architect to be the customer-facing technical specialist for API integration and automation. You will drive API discovery, design integration patterns, and support Technical Sellers with advanced API knowledge to deliver reusable, secure API-driven solutions.

As part of the SWAT team, you will partner with product management, API platforms, and engineering to produce guides, reference architectures, and training.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field or related experience.
• 10+ years in technical pre‑sales, solution architecture, API/integration architecture, or telecommunications engineering.
• Experience leading technical discovery and translating requirements into designs.
• Knowledge of API authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, tokens, credentials, scopes).
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to engage across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead API architecture and customer integration discussions and document patterns, dependencies, flows, and security considerations.
• Collaborate with Technology Architects to align API/automation strategies across multiple products.
• Lead customer workshops and architecture discussions; support Technical Sellers with specialized API knowledge.
• Create and deliver API enablement materials and training; improve usability and consistency of API resources.
