Lumen is seeking an API Technology Architect for its SWAT Team. You will lead API architecture, discovery with customers, and integration design to automate service ordering and provisioning.

The role blends hands‑on API work with seller enablement, documentation, and field support across multiple Lumen products. The successful candidate translates business needs into secure, reusable API solutions while guiding complex customer engagements and ensuring scalable API patterns in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a tech field and 10+ years in technical pre‑sales, solution or API architecture.
Experience translating customer requirements into secure, scalable API designs.
Strong knowledge of API authentication (OAuth 2.0) and secure secret handling.

Responsibilities

Lead API‑focused discovery with customers and account teams.
Architect and document customer integration patterns and API dependencies.
Collaborate across teams to align API strategy across products.
Engage in workshops, demos, and troubleshooting for complex integrations.
Create API enablement resources and educate Technical Sellers.
