Job summary

RethinkFirst, a market leader in behavioural and mental health technology, seeks an A/P Specialist to join our accounting team. This remote-first role supports a nationwide footprint, handling the full-cycle AP, GL coding, and expense processing with Sage Intacct.

You will reconcile AP accounts, assist month-end close, review employee expenses, manage procurement workflow, and support audits while upholding internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong understanding of AP principles and general accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle and enter invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.
• Reconcile AP-related GL accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
