Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an AP Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage full-cycle accounts payable, process invoices in Sage Intacct, and ensure accurate GL coding.

This role supports our remote-first, national workforce with emphasis on compliance and timely payments. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in AP, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and a solid understanding of AP principles.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function, including monitoring the AP inbox and entering invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
