Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Deployment Support Technician to partner with PM, Systems Engineering, and Operations to deploy and support AMR/AGV solutions in customer environments. This remote-based role will require on-site presence near deployment sites and frequent travel across the U.S.

and Canada to ensure uptime and project success. You will validate systems, troubleshoot issues, and train customer personnel while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of related experience in a field service/automation setting.
Associate degree or technical training in relevant engineering discipline.
Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration preferred.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Basic familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

Support on-site commissioning and integration of systems, including hardware verification, network setup, software configuration, and safety checks.
Complete acceptance testing, document results, and help resolve readiness gaps before go-live.
Respond to real-time issues during deployment and go-live with troubleshooting and escalation as needed.
Deliver training to customer personnel on system operations and maintenance.
Coordinate with Technical Support, Field Services, and Systems Engineering to resolve issues and provide field feedback.
