Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Deployment Support Technician to partner with PM, Systems Engineering and Operations to deliver successful AMR deployments. You will work in customer environments, performing troubleshooting, system validation, and go-live support to maximize uptime and value realization.

This remote-based role requires travel to customer sites (60-70%), near key deployment locations in the US and Canada, with on-site visits and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in US is required; no visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel across the U.S. and Canada 60-70%.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• On-site commissioning and integration, including hardware verification, network setup, and safety checks.
• Acceptance testing, document results, and help close readiness gaps before go-live.
• Respond to real-time issues during deployment and go-live with troubleshooting and escalation.
• Preventative maintenance, minor repairs, retrofits, and recalls on deployed AMRs.
• Deliver training to customer personnel on system operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Field Services, and Systems Engineering to resolve issues.
• Manage AMR fleet status, track repairs, and update documentation.
• Communicate deployment status and issue resolution to customer teams.
• Support after-hours or on-call coverage as needed.
