Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Deployment Support Technician to partner with Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Operations for end‑to‑end AMR deployments in customer environments.

The role emphasizes go‑live, post‑deployment optimization, and long‑term stability, with travel across the U.S. and Canada. It is a remote‑based position located near key deployment sites, reporting to the Lead, Systems Engineering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Legal authorization to work in US; no visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel across the US and Canada (60–70%).
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site commissioning and integration of systems including hardware verification, network setup, software configuration, and safety checks.
• Complete acceptance testing, document results, and close readiness gaps before go-live.
• Respond to real-time issues during deployment with hands-on troubleshooting and escalation as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance audits, minor repairs, and recalls on deployed AMRs.
• Deliver training to customer personnel on system operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Field Services, and Systems Engineering to resolve issues.
• Manage AMR fleet status and track repairs; support documentation updates.
• Communicate deployment status and issue resolution to customer teams.
• Provide after-hours or on-call coverage during projects.
