Qualifications

• Active coding credentials (RHIT, RHIA, CCS or CPC).
• 3+ years of ambulatory/professional fee coding experience.
• 3+ years of experience with electronic health records and coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of coding staff to ensure productivity and quality.
• Set team priorities and distribute workloads to meet short-term goals.
• Own team output and monitor performance against standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve dependencies.
• Audit coding work to identify trends and support corrective actions.
