Job summary

Prolific is seeking Customer Support Representatives to join our Expert Network and help train AI models using real service expertise. You’ll complete a short skills test, then may be invited to join Prolific as a paid participant for AI tasks.

Researchers pay up to $30 per hour, with tasks typically requiring about an hour of uninterrupted work. You’ll bring extensive customer support experience, exceptional English written skills, problem-solving ability, and fast, accurate work.

Qualifications

• Years of experience in high-volume customer support, technical support, or client success.
• Excellent written English with ability to adjust tone for different personas.
• Proven ability to de-escalate and troubleshoot technical or billing issues.
• High typing speed and ability to navigate multiple sources quickly.
• Sharp eye for identifying errors in logic, tone, or facts in responses.
• Multilingual capabilities are a significant plus for translation and localization.
• A PayPal account to receive payment from clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated support replies for accuracy and brand voice consistency.
• Simulate customer interactions to test AI handling of edge cases.
• Refine AI-generated FAQ articles and macros for clarity and accuracy.
• Annotate model responses for sentiment and tone suitability.
• Quality assurance by comparing outputs against standard QA rubrics.
