Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sales Strategy & Enablement Director to drive the AI vision and roadmap for the Sales and SBO organizations. This role acts as the AI Ambassador, coordinating enterprise governance, pilot activities, and AI tool convergence while ensuring alignment with business priorities and the broader seller experience.

The director collaborates across teams to shape AI-enabled experiences, develops evaluation criteria, and defines transformation metrics to measure ROI and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of strategy, transformation or senior operations required.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience designing, implementing, or advising on AI solutions with demonstrated ability to evaluate AI use cases and guide others on AI implementation.
• Proven ability to develop and communicate multi-year strategic visions and translate them into actionable roadmaps with measurable milestones; experience with structured delivery (Agile or phase-gate).
• Deep expertise with enterprise AI and agentic technologies; ability to advise teams on SAP/Salesforce ecosystems and how AI integrates with the sales tech stack.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior sales leadership and translate business priorities into tech and transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drives the AI vision and roadmap for Sales and SBO, tracking progress and maturity.
• Represents Sales and SBO priorities in the enterprise AI ambassador network with coordination and testing sessions.
• Guides teams on AI solution development and implementation, ensuring proper foundations and approach.
• Leads readiness and sequencing for new AI tools entering build or pilot phases.
• Communicates transformation narratives to sales leadership and the broader field organization.
