Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader to head the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering group, guiding a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers. You will personally design, build, and troubleshoot the most critical parts of EY\'s platform while directing delivery roadmaps and ensuring reliability across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

You will set standards, manage budgets, champion security and portability, and partner with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps to deliver reproducible,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams while remaining hands-on contributor.
• Proven track record owning platform/infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and ideally air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: set priorities, hire, mentor, and raise technical depth.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement, and debug core platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap: define phased capabilities and governance gates.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform: manage Kubernetes, scheduling, multi-tenancy, and bare-metal to support EY workflows.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped targets.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with AI gateways and sandboxed execution.
• Own operational excellence and platform delivery: SLOs, incident management, DR, backup, and security hardening.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor selection; manage budgets and vendor relationships.
