EY is seeking a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to direct the infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. This hands-on player-coach role involves roadmap delivery, hands-on design and troubleshooting, and ensuring portability and reliability across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.

You will lead a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, set priorities, hire and mentor, and own the end-to-end platform delivery with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end, from requirements and estimation through phased delivery and steady-state operations.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication tiered by RPO/RTO.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: direct daily work, hire, mentor engineers, and set standards.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement, and debug the most complex components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap: define phased capabilities and gates; report progress to leadership.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform: manage Kubernetes, scheduling, and multi-tenancy across targets.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing: manage Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, and Envoy AI Gateway.
• Own operational excellence, resilience, and platform delivery: define SLOs, incident reviews, and drift-free delivery with IaC.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor selection: forecast demand and manage budgets.
