Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to direct infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped targets. This player-coach role combines hands-on design with executive-level delivery, ensuring portability, reliability, and scale of EY's AI runtime platform.

You will own the platform roadmap, mentor engineers, and collaborate with leadership to balance speed and safety in regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams while remaining hands-on contributor.
• Proven track record owning platform roadmaps and architecture end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team and set priorities.
• Personally design, implement, and debug the hardest platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap and define entry/exit gates.
• Manage secure execution, inference serving, and routing for AI workloads.
• Ensure reliability, SLOs, incident management, and cross-environment DR.
