Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to direct the infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI-runtime. You will balance hands-on design and leadership, delivering a phased roadmap across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments, with a focus on reliability, portability, and secure execution in regulated client contexts.

The role combines technical depth with executive-level collaboration, guiding a team of engineers while delivering critical platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while contributing hands-on.
• Track record owning infrastructure roadmap and architecture end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployments.
• Strong knowledge of cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with IaC and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team; set priorities, hire, mentor, and drive standards.
• Hands-on design, implementation, and debugging of the most high-risk platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased capability releases.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform across multiple environments.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with advanced AI tooling.
• Own operational excellence, incident response, and disaster recovery; ensure repeatability and security.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships; justify budgets to leadership.
