Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to direct the infrastructure and cloud-native layers powering EY’s AI runtime. You will set the technical direction for AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers and stand up EY AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.

This is a player-coach role blending hands-on design with leadership: you’ll own the delivery roadmap, drive reliability and portability, and ensure security, performance, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving is highly desirable.
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, setting priorities and removing blockers to enable predictable delivery.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor, designing and debugging the hardest platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased entry/exit gates and risk reporting to leadership.
• Operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped targets.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with GPU/NVIDIA tech and sandboxed execution.
• Define SLOs, incident management, DR, and drive reproducible environments via CI/CD and GitOps.
