Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Model Risk Advisor to promote AI governance, maintain policies, and strengthen controls across the enterprise. This remote role supports teams nationwide.

You will monitor models, assist in validation, develop executive insights, and partner with risk, auditors, and suppliers to address risks. A focus on ethical AI and regulatory compliance guides the work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; AI governance experience valued.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices enterprise-wide.
• Establish inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk by complexity, requirements, impact, and usage.
• Develop and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
• Support model validation activities with scoping, findings, and recommendations.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight including audits and reviews.
• Create reporting and executive insights on governance and risk.
• Collaborate with Risk, auditors, and suppliers to maintain docs.
• Incorporate evolving regulatory expectations into governance practices.
