Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group embraces a remote-first culture and seeks a Model Risk Advisor to promote governance of AI models, policies, and standards. The role focuses on maintaining model inventories, assessing risk, and improving compliance across the enterprise.

The candidate will collaborate with risk, auditors, and internal teams to ensure robust governance and reporting, while staying aligned with evolving regulatory expectations for AI governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management practices, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Ability to communicate complex AI governance topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of AI governance policies and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory needs, and business impact.
• Maintain MRMR frameworks, processes, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation and testing activities and document findings.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight activities (audits, reviews).
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain governance docs.
