Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Model Risk Advisor — Remote. The role promotes effective governance for AI policies and standards, maintains model inventory with risk ratings, and identifies compliance gaps.

You will collaborate across teams to improve governance and drive risk-based decisions in a remote-first environment. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in model risk/audit, a CS/DS-related degree, and experience with AI governance, privacy, and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management, risk, or audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IM/DS or equivalent field.
• Experience in AI model governance and audit concepts.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible practices.
• Maintain inventory of ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, requirements, and usage.
• Develop and monitor governance frameworks, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor KRIs and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Support model validation, testing scope, and findings.
• Participate in governance oversight, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop executive reporting on AI governance and risk insights.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors and external partners on governance docs.
• Stay updated on regulatory expectations related to AI and model risk.
