Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is actively hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to promote governance practices, maintain AI policy frameworks, and drive risk-aware decisions across the enterprise. You will help streamline governance processes and identify gaps in compliance as you collaborate with risk, audit, and IT teams.

The role focuses on inventorying AI/GenAI models, defining ownership and risk ratings, and supporting model validation and reporting.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk, and audit.
Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
Capable of communicating technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote awareness and adoption of AI governance.
Establish and maintain an inventory of AI/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and usage.
Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, controls, and procedures.
Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
Support model validation and testing activities and communicate findings.
Participate in AI Model Governance oversight, audits and risk assessments.
Develop reporting and executive insights for AI governance and risk.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain governance documentation.
