Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor for a remote role across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The role focuses on governance, AI policy adoption, and closing compliance gaps while collaborating with risk, auditors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will lead in AI model governance, risk assessment, and reporting, with 4+ years in model risk or related fields and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI model governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote awareness of AI governance policies and practices.
• Establish and maintain inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, business impact, and usage.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and policy adherence.
• Support model validation and testing activities; document findings and recommendations.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight activities, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and model risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external suppliers to maintain governance docs.
