Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor for a remote role across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will promote AI governance, maintain model inventories, assess risk, and support audits and governance reviews.

The role emphasizes collaboration with risk, compliance, and engineering teams in a remote-first work model. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in model risk management and a strong foundation in AI governance, regulatory compliance, and data privacy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management related practices, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Capable of independently authoring and communicating technical and business information in a variety of formats.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Establish and maintain inventory of AI/GenAI models with ownership and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Monitor governance controls and identify issues with established policies.
