Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to promote AI governance and strengthen model risk governance across the enterprise. You will maintain model inventories, assess risks, and drive compliance with evolving regulatory expectations.

The role requires 4+ years in model risk management, a related bachelor's degree, and strong communication. A remote-first setup with US-wide opportunities is offered, with Hawaii and Alaska excluded.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in model risk management, risk and audit activities.
• Experience with AI governance, policy frameworks, and controls.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and data management principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Maintain a complete inventory of AI/ML models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulation, business impact, and usage.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks and controls.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation, scope definition, and findings communication.
• Participate in AI governance audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on governance and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external suppliers on governance docs.
• Monitor evolving regulatory expectations and update governance practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate AI governance processes and tooling.
• Evaluate processes and tools and recommend improvements.
