Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor for a remote position available nationwide, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. The role focuses on promoting AI governance, maintaining model inventories, and assessing risks across enterprise AI activities.

Candidates should have 4+ years in model risk or AI governance, plus a relevant degree or equivalent experience. The work spans governance, audits, and collaboration with risk and audit teams to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 4+ years in model risk management or AI model governance.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring, auditing principles, and privacy/security standards.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory needs, and usage.
• Partner to implement and maintain MR framework, controls, and procedures.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risk.
