Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor for a remote role across the United States (excluding HI/AK). You will promote AI governance, maintain model inventories, assess risk, and support audits and validation activities.

We seek candidates with 4+ years in model risk, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills to translate complex topics. This role offers a remote-first culture and opportunities to influence enterprise risk management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in model risk management, risk, or audit.
• Bachelor's degree as stated.
• Knowledge of AI governance standards and ethics.
• Experience with regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Maintain an inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess risk by complexity, regulatory needs, and business impact.
• Help implement Model Risk Management frameworks and controls.
• Monitor KRIs, governance controls, and policy compliance.
• Support validation and testing activities, documenting findings.
• Participate in governance audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risk.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors, and suppliers to manage documentation.
