Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate high-performance AI/ML cloud infrastructure. The role bridges MLOps, DevSecOps, and customer engagements across commercial and government cloud environments.

You will build resilient Kubernetes clusters, automate pipelines with Terraform and GitOps, and support on-call troubleshooting while delivering client-ready docs and diagrams.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering.
• Ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters for AI/ML workloads.
• Drive automation using Terraform and GitOps with security guardrails.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with image scanning and audit logging.
• Support on-call rotation and perform root-cause analyses and post-mortems.
• Produce client-ready documentation and reference diagrams.
