Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is recruiting for a Model Risk Advisor - Remote. The role drives AI governance, maintains model inventories, and partners with risk, auditors, and internal teams across the enterprise. Remote work is allowed nationwide with some location constraints.

Required are 4+ years in model risk, governance, and audit, plus a BS in a related field. Strong communication and collaboration are essential for success and regulatory awareness is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Able to communicate technical topics clearly to business stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and communication across senior levels.
• Experience deploying AI Model governance programs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Establish and maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulatory requirements, impact, and usage; identify emerging risks.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, processes, controls, policies, standards.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
• Support model validation and testing by defining scope, documenting findings, and recommending actions.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight activities, including audits and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risk.
