Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Ethics Specialist for a remote-first position focused on responsible and fair AI development. You will establish ethical guidelines, perform impact assessments, and advise cross-functional teams on mitigating bias throughout the AI lifecycle.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of AI ethics experience, and strong analytical/communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ethics, philosophy, law, or CS with AI ethics focus.
• Minimum 5+ years in AI ethics or related field.
• Ability to develop guidelines, assess impact, and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce AI ethics policies and frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and bias audits of AI models.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, product managers, and legal teams.
• Provide guidance and training on responsible AI development.
• Stay current with AI ethics research, regulations, and best practices.
• Advocate for ethical AI and contribute to public discourse.
