Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Responsible AI Engineer to design and deploy state-of-the-art ML models with a focus on fairness, transparency, and privacy. You will work with clients to assess risks, implement robust AI systems, and help shape responsible AI guidelines and practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and stay current with AI ethics and regulatory considerations while delivering impactful results from data to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Experience in at least two of: statistics/probability, regression, clustering, deep learning, NLP, CV, time series, ML visualization, or tree ensembles.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java; familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch; experience with Hadoop/Spark.
• Database management and data processing.
• Understanding of cloud services for AI (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to ethical AI.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing AI models and solutions, focusing on ethical and responsible practices.
• Detecting, evaluating and applying RAI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness, explainability) in AI systems; support client conversations.
• Optimizing and maintaining existing AI systems for enhanced performance and ethical standards.
• Participating in the full AI development lifecycle: data prep, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Contributing to internal guidelines and best practices for responsible AI development and training.
• Staying updated with AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological advancements.
• Identifying and correcting biases in datasets and models.
• Documenting AI development processes and maintaining transparent decision records.
