Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering, Inc. seeks a Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to unify and scale AI initiatives across the company.

This remote, building-led role requires prototyping and shipping generative AI agents, safe tooling, and coaching a ~45-person non-technical champion network to apply AI in their jobs. You will own the tooling stack, guardrails, scorecard and targets, drive procurement of models and platforms, and report weekly on progress and bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Build and ship agentic AI systems used by real people.
• 7+ years in technology/ops/consulting with 2+ years in applied AI.
• Fluency with prompting, agents, tools, evaluation and orchestration.
• Scripting or coding ability to prototype and integrate via APIs.
• Proven success delivering AI/automation across a non-technical workforce.
• Experience establishing governance or responsible-AI policies.
• Excellent facilitation and communication with engineers and users.
• Ability to own capability end-to-end without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate ongoing AI work into a coherent, governed program.
• Standardize tooling and guardrails; retire redundant options.
• Prototype and ship AI agents, automations and safe tooling.
• Lead weekly enablement sessions and build function playbooks.
• Define tooling stack; evaluate models, platforms and vendors.
• Publish weekly AI scorecard metrics and targets.
• Ensure outputs are source-validated and require oversight.
• Coach ~45 AI champions across the business.
