Thanx is a leading loyalty and guest engagement platform for regional and national restaurants. This Merchant Operations role ensures restaurant partners' loyalty programs, mobile apps, online ordering, and POS integrations run smoothly.

You’ll work with Implementation and Customer Success teams to launch merchants, monitor health, and fix issues with data-backed reasoning. AI-native workflows are part of daily tasks, and ownership is expected from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support, operations, implementation, or similar role.
• Track record of finding root causes, not just closing tickets.
• Comfort with data; SQL is a big plus, and we’ll teach what you need.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis, troubleshooting, or workflows.
• Clear written communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Habit of automating repetitive work in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure merchant setups. Set up loyalty, rewards, app, and online ordering for new and existing merchants.
• Connect partner integrations. Link merchants to POS, ordering, and delivery partners.
• Investigate and resolve issues. Provide evidence-backed fixes or bug reports.
• Monitor location health. Detect quiet locations and breaking integrations.
• Manage card network enrollment. Enroll locations and troubleshoot transactions.
• Build and improve automations. Create monitors and workflows for the team.
• Communicate clearly. Write actionable updates for merchants and teammates.
