Nortal is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with business units, turning their most complex challenges into deployed AI solutions. You’ll own the entire lifecycle from discovery through production adoption while transforming lessons learned into scalable improvements that other units can leverage.

We value systems thinking and strong engineering fundamentals over a specific tech stack, and you’ll work remotely with LATAM teams, collaborating across Content, Finance, Legal, and more to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering Experience with full-stack scope.
• 2+ years of Production AI experience building and deploying AI-powered apps.
• 3+ years of stakeholder-facing technical delivery and collaboration with business teams.
• 2+ years of API and enterprise systems integration.
• 2+ years of cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Find the use case by collaborating with business units to identify high-value opportunities.
• Ship full-stack systems delivering tangible business value and accelerating learning.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise data, APIs, and tools.
• Drive adoption by supporting implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Protect delivery by balancing scope, speed, and quality with smart trade-offs.
• Get hands-on, contributing to development and troubleshooting as needed.
• Codify patterns into reusable tools, playbooks, and building blocks.
• Close the loop with feedback to engineering and platform teams.
