Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. This field-based role covers an assigned local territory with home-based flexibility when not meeting customers.

Base salary plus commission is offered, with opportunities for higher earnings based on performance. You will develop relationships, drive new business, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or territory management experience in a field-based environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers throughout the auction process and after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within your assigned territory.
