Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in agriculture by selling BigIron’s online auction services. This field-based role covers a local territory with in-person farm visits, dealer engagement, and ongoing customer support.

You will develop relationships, generate new business, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish, with base salary and commission opportunities that can lead to substantial earnings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, territory management, or business development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable traveling within an assigned territory and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategies, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers through the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within the assigned territory.
