Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory, develop relationships with farmers and dealers, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish.

This role offers a base salary plus commission opportunities and company-provided tools. Daily field work with travel within the territory and a home-based office when not meeting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience with territory management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within territory.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your assigned territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers throughout the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within your assigned territory.
