Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services.

This role involves developing customer relationships, managing a local territory, traveling regularly within the assigned region, and guiding customers through the auction process from start to finish, with base salary plus commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing business development experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the territory.
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, dealers and local ag businesses
• Prospect for new business through visits, referrals, networking and calls
• Meet customers on farms, shops, and throughout the territory
• Evaluate equipment and advise auction timing, pricing and options
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions
• Coordinate with marketing, listings and operations to prepare equipment
• Support customers through the auction process and post-sale service
• Grow revenue within the assigned territory
