Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist-Widefield to drive pre- and post-sales support for advanced microscopy products. This field-based role covers primarily the Texas area with remote work options.

You will deliver high-quality demonstrations, train customers, and collaborate with Account Managers to advance opportunities, while applying imaging expertise to solve complex research challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the life sciences or optics field.
• 2+ years in a research environment, regularly applying microscopy and digital imaging techniques OR imaging analysis
• Teaching or training experience, providing training and advice on how to use imaging equipment and techniques to solve scientific questions
• Familiarity with biological imaging applications; fluorescence, microscopy and optics experience highly valued

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by delivering high-quality product demonstrations of widefield systems and applying technical expertise to advance opportunities and increase order conversion.
• Partner closely with Account Managers and the AWS team maintaining regular communication, joint account planning, and alignment on pipeline priorities.
• Provide expert application, product, software, and technical support throughout the customer journey, including training and troubleshooting.
• Develop, validate, and execute imaging protocols and demonstration activities, ensuring systems are optimized and tailored to customer applications and research needs.
• Generate customer insights, application data, and best practices while leveraging DBS principles to improve processes, strengthen solution differentiation, and enhance customer experience.
