Job summary

Zones is seeking a high-performing Advanced Technology Executive (ATE) to drive profitable growth through complex technology opportunities. This role focuses on gross margin, ACV growth, and long-term customer value, not farming. Travel up to 50% is required as part of field sales excellence.

You will own the full sales cycle, collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams, and engage executive stakeholders to close strategically important deals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field sales experience in B2B technology.
• Strong understanding of deal economics, margin drivers, and ACV.
• Proven success closing complex, solution-based deals.
• Experience selling advanced or emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for assigned accounts and opportunities, from prospecting through close.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline with a focus on high‑margin, services‑led opportunities.
• Drive deals that meet or exceed gross margin targets and grow ACV service bookings.
• Collaborate with solution architects, services teams, and partners to design scalable, margin‑accretive solutions.
• Engage directly with executive-level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO, VP-level) and conduct in-person and virtual meetings.
