Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks a Digital Marketing / Communications Specialist II to own ad serving and trafficking operations for paid media. You will traffic creative, manage rotation, and ensure correct tag implementation before launches.

Collaborate with Marketing Technology and publishers to resolve delivery discrepancies and maintain hygiene across campaigns. Remote role with CT/ET zone residency preferred; hybrid if near office locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; 2 years’ experience in ad trafficking or equivalent.
• Hands-on ad trafficking in Campaign Manager 360 or similar platforms.
• Experience resolving delivery/impression discrepancies with publishers or platforms.
• Experience with agencies, publishers, vendors on technical troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail; trafficking accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Problem-solving; identify root causes of discrepancies.
• Process discipline; document trafficking procedures.
• Clear communication with marketing partners and vendors.
• Ability to manage concurrent trafficking requests against deadlines.
• Proficiency with ad servers and knowledge of tags, pixels, and macro conventions.

Responsibilities

• Traffics display, video, native, and rich media into ad servers and platforms.
• Builds and maintains ad server placement structures and creative assignments.
• Manages creative rotation and sequencing across flights.
• Generates trafficking sheets and ensures correct implementation pre-launch.
• Retrieves and stores creative assets for market use.
• Implements and validates conversion pixels and tracking tags.
• Audits tag placement and maintains tag documentation.
• Coordinates tag requests with third-party vendors.
• Monitors delivery and resolves discrepancies across platforms.
• Maintains ad-serving hygiene and archiving of placements.
• Supports invoice validation and trafficking procedures.
• Produces trafficking status views for team visibility.
• Stays current on ad serving standards and privacy developments.
• Designs reports to show delivery metrics and campaign performance.
